"Good location. Walking distance to a few supermarkets. About 2 minutes walk to a really nice beach. On a bus route. Breakfast was a nice selection of hot and cold and opened at 6:00 until 10:00. Be aware the bottled water in the room is not free. Construction meant there were some disruptions. Also, the slow-close doors need to be adjusted to avoid the disruptive slamming that occurs at late and early hours. "

Price was reasonable and rooms are spartan, but you get what you pay for, nothing to complain about. "When I first checked in to my room, all towels and soaps were used. Took them eight hours to give me fresh towels. Breakfast is very simple and limited if compared to other hotels of the same standard. Facilities are modern and well maintained staff were nice and helpful. However, cleaning staff let me down at the beginning of my stay."

"Staff are well-trained and ready to accommodate guests' needs, and the amenities provided are very decent. The hotel's location is convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and transportation options. Like the rest of Rio city centre - it isn’t a neighbourhood to walk around at night due to safety. Internet was excellent but got choppy on a couple of occasions. The decor is modern-contemporary and the hotel is very clean and well maintained. Overall, Hotel Atlantico Prime offers a great and convenient experience for travellers - very popular with group travellers as well as GLBTQ community looking for a comfortable stay in the centre."

"We loved our stay. The rooms are cleaned very well and the breakfast is great. We also booked some excursions at the front desk with a third party and they were pretty good. Mountain view from the room is breathtaking. Ubers come very quick to the hotel and the beach is nice too. The pool is heated and I wish we knew it on the first day as we came during late November and the water in the ocean was still pretty cold. Highly recommend this hotel! "
