Best of the 5 places that we stayed at. Great bathroom. Plenty of bench space in room.
Friendly checkin staff.
2 bad stains on the carpet.

A vale-for-money place to stay in southern Bendigo
Posted 23 Jun 2024 on HotelsBendigo Motor Inn is a little past its prime, but our room was clean, well provisioned and freshly painted. The bed was soft but comfortable and the air-conditioner warmed the room fairly quickly. There were plenty of towels shower gel/shampoo, liquid soap and a flannel. It's a little out of Bendigo proper, but well located for any activity in the south of the city.

Very average property wasn't very clean the bed sank into the middle.Had to cup water into the kettle and there was no sink or dish cloth to wash any dishes.Not worth the $190.😐

Bearing in mind that this is NOT a 5 Star Hotel in ratings or price the comments are intended to be positive feedback.
Positive - it was very clean and the staff were very helpful. Dishwashing liquid, Jay cloth and tea towel provided.
Negative - Old towels, no bar soap, just body wash and liquid hand soap
There seem to be new owners who are gradually doing the place up and it was great to see what they have done so far.
Looking forward to the Restaurant to reopen and breakfast to be available.

This property was dirty, the beds were terrible. Our bed smelt like urine and was so old we couldn't comfortably lay on it without rolling into each other. This motel seriously needs an update. Not a pleasure to stay here.
