Não há nada que faça credenciar o nome Boutique Hostel, é sem vida, não há bar, não há atrações, não há limpeza nos quartos, não há ninguém na área de convivência porque é triste e sem graça.

The staff are amazing , wifi worked perfectly , luckily i was given a 4 beds shared room so i had plenty of space for the bags. The commom area is very comfortable, with a pool table and couches.
Breakfast needs some improvement, there was only bread with butter , coffee and a cake.
The cleanliness in the bathrooms wasnt good at all . Overall , i recommend in case you are looking for a
Cool and cheap hostel to stay .

Far from everything, horrible staff
Posted 11 Jul 2014Booked a room with 4 beds, got placed in a room with 10 beds. Fought with staff that only spoke portuguese to either give me $$ back or put me in the right room.
Finally change rooms and the key breaks in the lock. Great!
They only had 2 toilets and no urinals in theme a bathroom with 5 showers. Anytime anyone took a shower, the bathroom floor would flood.
Bring your own toilet paper.... Amazingly no toilet paper was provided.
And in top of it all, you are 50 km from the airport (110 reales) and far from just about everything else

Dear Mark,
we are a brand new hostel and It´s not usual at all that a key breaks in the lock. We have big bathroons with several urinals.
And we are in the central area of Belo Horizonte, close to the supermarket, Diamond Mall, Mercado Central and the airport is far away from the city, not only from our hostel.
hope you came here again and have a better idea of our hostel.

A Place Adjacent to Av Amazonas
Posted 2 Jul 2014I stayed in the hostel portion of the place. Upon arrival the place was chaotic. There were many lodgers that night. The place was loud after ten at night, and even if it was quite, it wouldn't have had made any difference. The vehicles passing by the place throughout the night were so loud. No air conditioning available in the room; when it was hot at night, it was hot in the room. I was provided two bed sheets, one to cover the mattress and the other as my blanket. I paid R$100 for four nights and one night I paid R$120. The toilets (5) and showers (4) are compacted into one tight rectangular room. And the water produced from someone's shower could flood section of the lavatory. There was no such thing as privacy whatsoever.

The Unique Hostel is a brand new hostel in a totally renovated historical building. We are in a very good location of the city, the central area, where you can get buses and walk around everywhere. Since it´s a historical building, we can´t, for example, put air conditioner in the rooms. it is winter time in Brazil but we have fans upon request. At the World Cup, we allow people to stay at the hostel bar until mid night, we even have signs saying people are not allowed to make noises after that. The hostel is supposed to be a place where you interact with the other guests so if you want privacy you shoul´ve booked a private room. Hope we answered all of your concerns.
