A bit of a musty odor throughout, but that seems typical these days in budget lodging. Otherwise, it was fine.

FANTASTIC STAY OVER WEEKEND AT BELMAR MOTEL IN BELMAR NEW JERSEY!!!! SUPER COMFORTABLE BEDS AND PILLOW, AND EXCELLENT FREE TV SCHEDULE LINEUP SHOWING LOTS OF FREE TV TO WATCH ON MY HOTEL ROOM TV!!!!!! WILL STAY AGAIN AT THE BELMAR MOTEL!!!!!

The second floor room was ok. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. Towels were average but there were no hand towels. The shower had only one setting and it was like a fire hose blasting water. The room was literally right on a busy highway and it was almost impossible to sleep. There was no elevator that we were aware of and the hallways were dimly lit and a little creepy.

We’re sorry about that Maryann but it could’ve been an extremely simple fix. All you had to do was ask the office or housekeepers for hand towels and ask to move to a different room. Those are by far the most preferred rooms in the hotel. Sorry for your unpleasant stay. You need to speak up and we would’ve done everything possible to accommodate you. Not saying anything and running to make a review isn’t the way to do things. Sorry again Maryann. Safe travels home. PS next time you go to any hotel speak up and it will go much better for you. Clean, friendly and functional. Facilities are a bit dated, but the hotel is well-run and safe. It ain't the Ritz, but it's a nice option that is more affordable than most hotels in the area.

Very convenient, and I was allowed to check-in 2 hours early to be able to make it to the Sea Hear Now festival on time.
