"I rate this property as average because in all honesty, it's not shown as it really looks in real life, you'll be staying at the oldest building in the area, even though you're in the best area for beaches and restaurants, consider that you'll get what you're paying for. We had a misunderstanding with the check in so i recommend having your schedule well planned out. "The apartment needs serious updates if not a complete renovation. The microwave plug doesn’t reach the outlet. The kitchen cookware is rusty and bent. We found a dead roach in a tea cup. Black mold in the shower. The drawers in the bedroom were broken. A light bulb was missing and another one was burnt out. They left one toilet paper roll for a two week stay. "I cant say enough good things about this place and the customer service that i received. The pictures show exactly how the place look. Its sparkling clean, really comfortable and quiet. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you need. Now i wont look any further any time i have a trip to Rio. Another plus for this property is the doorman: they are also amazing and really helpful. I never been so happy to stay in a property like i was at this one. For sure i will be booking again."

"This is my second time staying here. It is clean, pleasant, and reasonably priced. Most appreciate that it is in the touristy area of Santa Teresa and near LAPA. That is nice too. There's also a great view of the center from most rooms. My only minus, which isn't tied to the place, is that if you're out late, it can be difficult to get an uber up into the steep hills of Santa Teresa. Most taxis will though."

"The staff were very communicative and made sure everything was perfect. Everything was great. I saw so many options for stays in this area, and this was the perfect choice for location, amenities, and price. After I checked out, I was welcome to store my bags at the office just a few blocks away. All in all I would choose this place again without question."

Relax and enjoy the view.

"The hotel is classically beautiful with its spacious rooms, colourfully and tastefully decorated. I'm not surprised many celebrities have stayed there! The bed is super comfortable and the blackout blinds left all the day light outside so we could have a nice lie in the next morning. The hotel is super clean and tidy. They offer you a glass of champagne upon arrival making you feel very welcomed. The staff are really friendly and helpful, they go an extra mile to ensure you're satisfied. The pool area is just gorgeous with the colourful parasols contrasting with the pure white of the building around it! Very romantic. The location is wonderful, you just have to cross the road to be at the iconic Copacabana beach. It was throughout a fantastic experience and we'd love to be back again soon. "
