I would say you get what you pay for with a place like this, but the motel is dated and is not the cleanest which is why this is cheaper than places around it. Even some of the repairs that were done were cheaply done. This motel would need significant funding and remodel to address a number of concerns with the condition of the property. It isn’t the worst motel I’ve stayed at, but it is not far off.
I did not have a bad experience with the staff as other reviews mention (likely attributing the condition of the place on the staff themself).

Door didn't latch could open by pushing on it. Hole worm in carpet. Peeling paint on doors. Just completely run down. Had a reservation for a two bed room on first floor ended up with a one bed room on second floor no elevator.

The staff in the afternoon was very good. The clerk that checked me out was rude and shouldn’t be in public service. No continental breakfast. The afternoon clerk was very apologetic. The owner does not keep the place up. The one gentleman went over and beyond to help us.
