The front porch needs fixing up and the decor is dated. Otherwise a lovely place to stay.

Charming, period house in the center of Beaufort, short interesting walks to everything. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, I really enjoyed, all freshly cooked. One tip, our room at night was really noisy, we assumed it was the air conditioning, after a few hours of sleeplessness, I tried to reset the air con, but that was not the problem, it was the humidifier. Turned it off and had a good nights sleep in my beautiful now peaceful room. Great place to stay.

Very central location on a street with lots of historic sites (and 2 blocks from the main shopping area). The tea service, evening charcuterie, and baked goods was great. Nice lounge where you can have a heavy pour of wine. I wish the rooms were a little more updated and cleaner. Our bathroom door was falling off.

It is a beautiful well maintained old property in a lovely setting. The only negative was a bizarre women at the front desk who was rude to the guests. It was actually a topic of conversation between the guests. She tried to shame me for booking through a third party, Expedia, on check in. We did mention it to management and hopefully the problem has been addressed because it really is a charming old house in a very quaint and beautiful neighborhood, and the rest of the staff are fantastic.
