Dissapointing stay
Posted 13 Jun 2019 on HotelsDissapointed when we arrived as it took over an hour for someone to attend to check us in. Didn't get the "welcoming feel". Also were not aware that the restaurant and bar was closed on a Monday...we were looking forward to a relaxing drink and meal after a long drive! We were advised by the owner that there were plenty of bars/restaurants in the next village however we discovered many were closed on a Monday.
The Casa had a lot of character and we enjoyed a nice breakfast.
The shower door for the en-suite didn't close fully and signs of mould on the door and tiles.
Overall dissapointed with the experience as was really looking forward to our overnight stay.

I am very sorry for your unwelcome feeling. I was in a course and my husband was with his mother. He doesn't know English and could'nt explain. It is a family business, we have 3 children, we work a lot in the restaurant and we close Monday and Tuesday (in summer only on Tuesday). You booked bed and breakfast, if you had suggested that you wanted to have lunch or dinner you would have been notified of our weekly rest. We will check the shower door and also the cleaning. A lovely spot in the magical Basque countryside

Me encantó la atención del personal y la ubicación de la posada. Asimismo, los desayunos exquisitos y la comodidad de la habitación.
