I felt unsafe staying at this hotel. People partying outside listening to music, doing illegal activity. When I checked into the room, there were people on our balcony drinking and screaming. Front desk accommodated my request for another room and said he understood. Room is dirty, walls and ceiling have holes. Bathtub rusted. I have two small children and my 8 year old even asked if we could go somewhere else because he felt unsafe. Not a good family facility.

Very noisy with major highway right next to the facility and they obviousely did nothing to mitigate the noise level when it was built. Truck traffic woke me up all night so I left at 4:30am!

We did not stay in the Hotel due to the appearance on the outside and inside there was a person the in the lobby picking at their feet. Another couple refused to stay at the hotel as well. The hotel looked nothing like the internet photos. We had to get another hotel at the last minute do to the unsafe and unclean conditions and the presence of roaches. I expect a full refund, very disappointed in this property and staff.

The first room they gave me appeared to have not been cleaned. Wrinkled pillowcases, spots on the bed sheets, spider webs with the spider in it. Dirty bathroom. Asked for another room. Was better but not great.

If I could give this a zero star I would. The hotel was nothing like the pictures represented on the website. We would not stay there as is was dirty and we didn't feel safe. They would not cancel our reservation and still charged us. I am fighting with Expedia to return our money.

The whole hotel stinks, there are permanent residence living there full time We have stayed there the last few year cause it is close to the state park, but this place has gone down hill fast. We not be back :(

Definitely need better cleaning practices. Keep up the redecorating and fixing up. The locks on doors are a bit frustrating. Loved the balconies on second floor. Rooms were nice, wood floors. Cleanliness is more of a property issue

If I could give less than 1 star I would. This property looks abandoned. Weeds are overgrown. People must be living there permanently as there is stuff outside the rooms on the bottom floor: grills, buggies, garbage. The front desk is never manned. They also charge an extra $100 above the rate as a deposit(refunded later). The first room we were given was around the back and the air conditioning didn’t work. The microwave sparked when I tried to use it. We refused to park in the back due to the junk where people must be living. It just didn’t feel safe. We didn’t stay the second night and they refused to give a refund. Don’t stay here!

It’s cheap. But you barely even get what you paid for. Staff has ZERO personality. It looks like an abandoned building, outside full of weeds. Back door broken! Place looks like it was neglected in 1992 and it stayed as it was in 1992! Breakfast is a joke! A bunch on apples, they don’t even have water for guests and coffee lids were hidden away.

It was a place to stay. Looks like it’s in process of renovating from an EconoLodge to a Baymont. It would be nice to list the $100 deposit in the booking cost. I’ve never stayed at a hotel that requires such a thing. That was a bit of a surprise and would deter me from a future booking. The cost of room was cheap and it did have waffles for breakfast.
