Posted 19 Jun 2023 on HotelsWe travel a lot (across the whole World), we like to visit different places in EU, love gastronomic and wine tasting tours. Therefore, we have already stayed in many hotels across the EU. We were surprised that towels in the room are not white, but purple-blue, isn’t it mandatory to have them white? In our room there were only 2 towels, chambermaids maybe forgot, we asked for 2 towels more, so they brought them us. Room was spacious, but no safe, insufficient hygienic items, not enough soap in the supply soap bank, last morning even nothing. Breakfat was middling, I can imagine better for 4-stars…, BUT: staff was very nice and polite, hotel is situated in the very centre of Bautzen, sights are breathtaking, museums, towers… as well, our trip was perfect.

In the center of old town...location great...the bed in my room... mattress was way too SOFT.

Good hotel
Posted 14 Aug 2018 on HotelsThe hotel is well centrally located. Good breakfast and great Internet. Service is good too with helpful staff. The hotel is bit old , beds are soft , no air conditioned.

Yes, air condition we don`t have due to our hotel is a protected historical building. Almost 500 years old.

1 night stay looking fit for centre of town
Posted 28 Jan 2018 on HotelsRight in the centre of town, well maintained hotel and would definitely recommend. Comfortable bed, good water pressure for shower, clean hotel room, attentative service and a good restaurant within hotel. Breakfast was great any for only €5.00 !!

Staff very helpful and accommodating. Rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast traditional German fare, excellent.

Auf den braunen Möbeln war leider der Staub noch sehr gut zu sehen. Auch war der Kühlschrank defekt, trotz Mitteilung an das Personal passierte leider nichts. Schade.
Ansonsten alles ok, ich würde trotzdem wiederkommen.
