I absolutely loved my stay at Tyndall Villa. The room I had was very spacious (room 7) and overlooked the car park with a lovely view of bath. The bathroom was also very spacious and everything was clean and orderly. Their breakfast was wonderful and had a lot of different options, my favorite being the full english breakfast. Biggest thing to note is that if you are traveling by coach or train and do not have your own vehicle, the villa is up a large hill (do not listen to google maps when it tells you it is a mostly flat walk) so if you have large suitcases it would be advisable to take a taxi or public transport to their location. Luckily, there are multiple bus lines with a stop directly out front! From the villa it is about a 15 min walk into the city centre which was very convenient for exploring.

Great property. The place was beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast wasn’t customisable so was hard with dietary requirements. Also the aircon couldn’t be changed, it was set for the whole hotel. Would stay here again though.

I had to go back and forth about parking. I was told I could hold it. It wasn’t true. Not enough parking and no street parking. Room was 11 and it had no windows. Stained floors, chairs and headboard. Dirt on door. Couldn’t close door to bathroom. Empty bottle left in hallway all the stay. Very unhappy with stay. Breakfast was good.

Lovely comfortable room.
Breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice amd friendly service.
We found parking limited but managed to park in a nearby carpark and taxis were easy to arrange.

Bed very comfortable. Decor tasteful. Manager welcoming and helpful. Room had minor defects that were not picked up when room prepared. e.g. water slow (30 minutes) to empty from washbasin. Made it difficult for 2nd occupant. Reported it next morning. Nothing changed. Only on the 3rd morning when basin would not empty at all did someone cleared the drain and took away a hand-towel (not replaced) and left his tools. Also the fitting of the window was faulty. On the right hand side there was a gap which let in a draught and road noise. Breakfast and location first class, but didn't stay for our last night.
