Firstly the staff were excellent. All very attentive, we were shown to our room by reception and servers at breakfast were lovely. However, the property while clean was pretty tired. Needs some investment to bring it up to it’s so called 5 stars which it definitely is not - outside of the property needs a good jet wash. Thought it was very expensive for room only and then breakfast was another £16 each and using the car park £10 a day was disappointing. Wouldn’t stay again but again staff very good

One of the nicest hotel rooms we've ever experienced. Extremely roomy and comfortable. Easy 15 minute walk downtown.

Enjoyed our stay in the Abby room. Large room with comfy bed. Quiet. Nice shower. Close to key sites downtown. Easily walkable. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. We were able to leave car and walk around in am before departing by noon. Would definitely stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Ayrlington. The staff were most welcoming and accommodating. The room was lovely and the most spacious we've had in all of England, anywhere. The shower was incredible! The room was also incredibly quiet and we slept really well. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderul time staying at the Ayrlington. The staff were most welcoming and accommodating. The room was the most spacious we've had in England. The anenities were fantastic and the room was super quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would stay again.
