"The apartment was not very clean and had a horrible damp smell, really disappointed as it was not like portrayed in the pictures. Finger prints all over the walls and even foot prints on the roof (no idea how they got there). No cooking facilities, shouldn’t be advertised as an apartment if there is just a microwave, more of a room with a few extras. Would not recommend "

"A homely, comfortable property with everything you need for your stay. Communication from the owners was excellent before and during the stay. The house was clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast left in the kitchen was well beyond what I expected - cereals, pastries, fresh fruit, cooked meats, yoghurt, juice and milk. "Looked nice and well appointed. Visit was for Doncaster Races with dad and two grown up sons. Marketed as 4 person place, however, comfort score low as the sofa bed was absolutely the worst and most uncomfortable thing to sleep on ever, 2 nights no sleep! "

"Property is self catering house at edge of the town. Spacious and decent kitchen. Road quiet (liked that) and easy access to nature reserve/countryside walks. Parking a bit of an issue but didn’t detract from our stay. "

"Served its purpose for a one night stop over, basic and a bit tired, stains on sofa and carpet, only one double sofa which sank when you sat on it so the third person had to sit on a hard dining chair. "I had a 2 night stay with a friend whilst attending a funeral locally. The room was clean and tidy and good sized. we had a meal in the restaurant with other fiends (8of us). Most of us had a good experience. But 3 had an issue with the steaks ordered. They found them to be a little tough to eat. The others all enjoyed what they had ordered. The stay was comfortable and the breakfast buffet had a good selection. There was ample parking,"

"The reception staff were excellent and very friendly. The lady serving in the Restaurant and bar again was very pleasant and friendly. My food was lovely and delivered by the Chef with an apology for taking so long. However it didn't seem to take long at all."

Great hotel

"2nd time staying here. Had a course view, lovely room. There were a couple of minor issues when I came into the room, but these were reported and resolved within 10mins, couldn't ask for more. Only issue I have is that it's 20.00 to park even when you're staying, which seems a bit steep"
