"Had a lovely weekend away staying here. Definitely recommend the event nights. Only issue was the Oaties cafe was short staffed and that meant there was inly drinks, cakes that were on display and ice creams available. No pancakes or waffles were being cooked and seating was closed off. Also second day our key reset so had to go to reception to get it re done. Everything else was great and would definitely return"

"Stay was perfectly fine, Spa was nice but we didn't eat in the hotel so cannot comment on food and drink service. Staff were friendly and everything was clean and tiday in the hotel. On-premise EV charger was broken when we arrived but i called the company and they rebooted it for me. I was then able to charge the car OK. "

"I had a wheel in bed and it wasn’t very comfortable. I expected two proper beds. I learned for the first time, that I don’t get IHG points unless booked direct. Companies should tell people. I heard by default as I asked if points are automatically added. I didn’t expect to pay same price as a room with two proper beds. Staff great. Very clean. If spa could stay open longer that would be great. Say until 10pm"

"Stayed for two nights last week and everything was great: clean room, well-appointed with fridge, hair dryer, etc., easy parking, close to everything. The best thing is the young staff who made us feel very welcome. Compliments to the bartender, Minty and Nick the manager, who was very well informed about the local attractions and who helped us plan a plan a route to see the interesting churches, ruins, palaces, and pubs nearby. "What a great place! Themed with Horses! Who knew? Fantastic service and very excellent food, both dinner (evening) and the breakfast. Clean rooms, comfortable and a good shower. The dinner service team were great, the place gets quite busy (not surprised) and the hosts were still very attentive and efficient to serve the table. Overall a very nice place to stay and a thankyou to Belle (waitress) for the service we received."
