"We really enjoyed our stay - located very close to the train station (where the airport bus also stops), and old town so super convenient. Very quiet despite being close to a road. Super friendly and helpful reception (providing maps of the city, Basel card, tips for getting around the city easily and onwards travel) and a very clean and comfortable stay for a good price. I would stay here again for sure"

"Lovely hotel in centre of Basel. Nice staff, nice breakfast (extra) and free mini bar (not re stocked during stay which was a shame). Only irritation - very noisy of a weekend as hotel is right on Main Street on top of bars. Woke on Saturday night / Sunday morning by a brawl outside window. To be fair hotel make you aware of risk of noise - but only after you have booked it. Nice place tho and very pleasant rooms and very comfortable with pleasant open plan design. "

"The only negative was that other guest’s dog lefy 2 piles of geces in the corridet. Someone tried to remove it but left 2 significant feces smears on the carpet. We immediately notified front desk receptionist. Then next morning we told the housekeeper who was aware. The smears remained for our entire visit until our last morning when we submitted complaints to reception director again, it was finally cleaned at the time of our departure.
