"This is located on an island so the only way to get here is via boat. You can travel via car but not as convenient, you still need the boat to get from car to island. It is very peaceful, staff very friendly. Expedia mislead us to say it was all inclusive which isn't true. They only cover 3 meals a day but you have to pay for lunch when you arrive. "This place was amazing. Beautiful views right on the beach, clean beautiful rooms with a very nice pool, second floor lounging to view the islands and a dock for boat tours to pick you up. Food was amazing! Breakfast lunch and dinner with lots of delicious choices. Best part was the service from the staff. Kitchen was friendly and made very yummy food. Sergio and Lecrecia were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. They made the beautiful amenities even better. I recommend this place to everyone...

"Fantastic staff, comfortable and cool room and bed, delicious food, gorgeous beach and sea views. Oswaldo was wonderful - when my suitcase was lost on arrival he helped me take a boat to a place to buy cheap clothes. "

"This beach is amazing & this is one of the nicest places here. Wi-Fi works well. The food is great & everyone who works here is really fun & friendly. No problem finding staff around when you need something (except in the middle of the night there is only a night watch person but no supplies or drinks or anything). This section of the beach is nice as well because it is pretty centrally located yet not as raucous as some other areas either with families during the day or parties at night."

"Nothing like it's description, paid for two suites, no description telling you that you have to take a boat to the hotel, when we got there they had one room not in either catigory that we paid for. Had four twin beds, toilet was broken in half, water was leaking into the room, had no wifi as described, air conditioner did not work at all, door didn't lock. You can't make this stuff up, it just kept getting worse. Takes to others staying at hotel and they had same experience, so it wasn't...

"This place was a dream! Loved it! The view! The feeling next to the beach! Amazing! The staff very friendly & helpful! We walked at night all around! Very safe! The only downside is they have a generator for the electricity & not only is noisy but they turn them on & off & you lose power for a couple of minutes. Also the rooms are very small but good for 2 grown ups. "

"Truly wonderful hosts in Uriel and Paola. Uriel escorted us to a nearby restaurant for a delicious Colombian dinner. True Baru neighborhood, in the center where local staff for the beachfront hotels and restaurants live. If you want a genuine Baru experience, this would be the ideal place to stay"
