Bad they charge me twice expedia and front desk afecting my balance it was so tight

The clerk suggested we walk to a diner down the road with our little girl . There was one drugee after another having trips in dark corners down the unlit street right outside of the parking lot of the hotel. Then we were creepily followed by a guy wanting our money. And then on our way back to the hotel a lady was scoping us out and handing stuff she’d collected to what seemed like bad dudes she was apparently working for. They went around us like they weren’t going to let us in the driveway. There were police at The gas station across the street that said they’d follow and watch us get back. So that’s how we got back. The clerk then admitted that they have a major homeless problem with panhandling and them trying to break into the pool regularly. It got so bad they now have a security officer walk their parking lot all night.

For a Best Western mid-range hotel, I expected more amenities and at least a place for two people to sit.

Arrived extremely late and was able to check in easily. Room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was better than most (fried eggs instead of scrambled) and there were lots of options. Only negative was that the night desk clerk was a little unhelpful when we arrived late and my partner asked to use the public restroom. We had just been on the road for hours and were told there were no restrooms available except inside the rooms. This didn't seem right. Overall, Best Western Plus hotels are better than most hotels on the road and this one was very conveniently located along the highway. We had no issues with cleanliness or amenities offered.

Nice hotel stay away from room 102
Posted 29 Jul 2024 on HotelsIt is a nice hotel, very clean room very spacious. My biggest gripe is with room 102 all night you hear people elephant stomping up and down the stair way which leads out right in front of 102. The door slamming shut for the stairway. The ice machine right across the hall where people at 3:00 am are filling their ice buckets and ice chest. All in all i got about 3 hours of sleep with out the disturbance of the elephant stompers and ice machine.
