It's clean, comfortable and warm. The team are sound and the whole experience has an ease to it, adding to the enjoyment of the stay.
The pub and the road can be noisy but that's the nature of what and where it is.
I like staying here and will continue to book when visiting Barrow.

Super clean and friendly - great place
Posted 12 Aug 2024 on HotelsSuper clean room with private en-suite and bathroom. It’s a quiet place with not much to do in the immediate area although the centre is a 8-10 walk away. The bar downstairs is friendly for a quick drink. No kitchen or food available but I ordered a takeaway with the landlady’s help and advice and ate it in the bar. Very clean and perfect for an early start in Barrow rather th. trust the A590. Good access to leave and arrive 24/7 once your checked in
I ended up staying another night - clean affordable and very fit for purpose

party in the hallway 11.30 to 1.30 no staff to resolve problem ,window in bedroom would not shut same for the bathroom blowing a gale all night would not stay at this hotel pub

Hi Graham,We are disappointed to see your review.We live in the accommodation above the letting rooms and we didn’t hear any noise on the night in question. There is a 24/7 number to call on the information sheet to report any issues during your stay which could have been used to inform us of the apparent noise. We can’t act on something we don’t know about.We don’t have control over is the weather unfortunately, however, I’ve checked the windows in the room you stayed in and they shut perfectly fine. Confused with another hotel maybe?

The room is immaculate and the Paul couldn't do enough for you.
