1) Noise: We stayed in a beautiful suite overlooking the gardens. While the suite was clean, there was a wedding downstairs and the noise from the live band was deafening. We couldn’t sleep until it stopped at midnight. They shouldn’t let out a room directly over a live band.
2) Dirty: the morning of our checkout, we walked out the front of the property to our car and there was vomit outside the front door areas.
Great restaurant and beautiful property. Believe they just need some fine tuning with these couple of things

Only a short stay, but really enjoyed it. Hotel grounds were well cared for. Staff were friendly and helpful.I would definitely stay there again. Plenty of free parking.

Lovely hotel, staff looked after us very well and could not do enough for us. It was a pleasure being a guest at Abbey House and cannot speak highly enough of the staff also the beautiful building of Abbey House which is set in fabulous gardens.

Beautiful building and grounds. Helpful ,friendly and informative staff.
Breakfast options excellent. Enjoyed two evening meals at Oscars.

Loved the location with Furness Abbey nearby and conveniently situated for Safari Zoo. The hotel was furnished beautifully and our room was very spacious. The hotel grounds were stunning and maintained to a high standard, We were celebrating our 43rd Wedding Anniversary, on Thursday, but this wasn’t acknowledged, however, the restaurant was very busy on that evening. Would recommend this hotel.
