"The problem with this place is that there is a big difference between the rooms. 3 of the rooms have a very nice view from the terrace and the other rooms have access to a very small balcony with no view and where you can hardly sit. I did not find there was any transparency about this when booking. We got one of the latter types and were very disappointed. The pool is very nice."

"Beautiful views in a town high up surrounded by grapes. Friendly owner didn't speak English but managed to show us where to park. The most memorable part of the experience was the restaurant downstairs - excellent, local dishes. One of the best meals we had in Italy. Waiter shaved truffles onto our pasta!"

"Reception was kind and welcoming, but the room (Dolcetto) was very odd. Tried to find it charming, a long cave, but it's strange. The foot of the bed is right upon the curtains on the opposite wall. Sleep was the big problem. The room sits over the socializing courtyard and restaurant. The mild thump of music continued into the evening, followed after closing by voices laughing in the courtyard below the room. The drapes are too thin to block out the light in the courtyard.
