Walls are paper thin so you can hear everything next door.
Rooms are too hot.
No real value for money and i expect a lot better for £160 for one night.
On the plus side the staff are the only real credit to your poor hotel.

Rooms could have been better, shower tray very dirty/marked did not use. Very limited tea tray, breakfast was very disappointing, very unorganised, chaotic, tea/coffee machine broke down twice.

Staff were great at check in but the room was so noisy. We could hear every word of conversations from a family next to us. The corridors are also noisy. Premier Inns are quieter!
A real shame as the pool facilities are great as is parking and location but lack of a good nights sleep lets the hotel down

The property appears to be geared towards weddings at the weekends. Unfortunately we couldn't be put into a quiet room away from the entertainment. The bass was very loud indeed and after calling reception at 11.30pm, they did turn it down a little, which was appreciated (12.30 is when they have to finish apparently). Regrettably a group of young girls then came back to the adjacent room and continued the party until the early hours, which added to a very disturbed night. If you are part of the party and expecting this, I'm sure you'll be fine (tolerant), if you are expecting a relaxing stay, peaceful and quiet (at the weekend), I'd make sure they put you in the opposite end of the hotel to the entertainment. Would also be nice if a member of staff walked the corridors to check that everyone is being considerate in the early hours (2.30am is beyond acceptable).

Porridge made to order at breakfast. Nice old building with character. Wish the pool was larger !

Another excellent stay. Food was good - breakfast particularly and dinner had great options - well cooked. Room again was spotless and everything worked perfectly. Will definitely be staying when next in the area.
