AC was not working and it was freezing cold. Room was too small for who stay more than one night. It was longest check in process, it took more than half an hour and we were the only one who was doing check on that time. Only good think was location.

For a first-time visitor to Barcelona, the Mosaic Hotel was hard to mentally picture due to its small street-level footprint - an old-school beautiful doorway and petite lobby. What a lovely surprise to see that the hotel is perfectly situated on the street, mere feet from terrific patios and elegant shops. I always wonder when booking a hotel as to what atmosphere the lobby/bar area will offer, but in the case of many hotels in Barcelona, the magic is to be found outside, just steps away with literally thousands of options. The Mosaic staff were charming and the room was as delightful as one could ask for. There is a rooftop garden where you can enjoy a coffee or tea and fire up your engine for a day of exploration. I'd happily return to this property and am already missing the view from the balcony.
