Modern and stylish. Lounge is good Room is big enough. Bathroom a bit of letdown as water went everywhere. Don’t raise the issue as was there for just 3 nights. Area immediately around seemed a bit dodgy. But the whole area appears in need of a development push.

I’d like to share a few issues we found during our stay: - the water in the shower was extremely hot regardless of the setting chosen. This was a huge inconvenience as it made it very difficult to take showers. We tried different things but the water was invariably boiling!! - I booked a king size bed and was put into a room with two single beds put together - lack of privacy, as the toiled door doesn’t close properly. Really uncomfortable if sharing the room! I stayed for 3 nights from 22-25 November 2024.

Regarding the water temperature, it is a problem we rarely have, however, very easy to solve. You only had to call us, and the technician would have solved the problem immediately. Nevertheless, we are very sorry for the inconvenience we caused you during your stay.All our beds are made up like the one you had, if it was a little uncomfortable, again you should have called us and we would have put another mattress topper, we understand that it is a very individual thing how everyone is comfortable in their bed.We hope to see you again in the very near future, and give you the service of excellence that we give to our clients and have the room immaculate where you can not worry about anything as everything works perfectly well.Warm regards,Guest Relations Team

There's good & bad. GOOD: Smart, helpful front desk staff! Spacious, nice looking rooms (we had 2 rooms). BAD: the shower floors are the most SLIPPERY of any hotel and no handrails anywhere. Those with balance issues should never stay here. Also there's no door to the shower exposed to the front door. Also BAD: a small step up to the bed. All 4 of us in both rooms tripped at least once, especially in the middle of the night on the way to the bathroom. GOOD: 2 free bottles of water each day. GOOD: Breakfast buffet is nice, but ALL hot egg/bacon dishes are cold (except if you order a custom omelet). Dinner was tasty but limited. FIVE stories but surrounded by taller buildings so no great view from the pool deck. Gym in small but usable. We were awakened by talking in the courtyard at 2am and 5am on two nights. It seems that most of the contemporary hotels put design above function which makes this beautiful hotel not good for anyone with physical concerns. Too bad because the fixes would be so easy if done upfront.

The hotel is nice, clean and new. The staff are helpful and responsive. I was able to get an early check in which was great. Close to the beach and public transportation. Bad points of my stay was no hot water in the shower (promptly fixed) and the room was hot the windows could not be opened and temperature controls in the room did not work.

The staff at the hotel was extremely nice and knowledgeable. I would give them excellent marks. I wasn’t very impressed with the hotel decor, however. Although it was contemporary (which I love), it just didn’t feel inviting. I wasn’t impressed with the Hotel service either. We left early morning and returned to our room around 2:30 and it hadn’t been made up. Room service was very limited and had a €5.00 surcharge. Lastly, the area, although nice enough isn’t really near anything if you’re visiting Barcelona as a tourist.

An excellent hotel with staff that clearly enjoy their jobs and understand the value of customer service. A few minutes walk to the beach, loads of options for food and easy access to the city centre. I will be back.
