I wanted to give this property a better review, but our shower leaked terribly. It’s designed so that there is no threshold between the shower and the shower door. There is also construction going on next-door and is quite noisy. The walls are very thin, and we could hear a lot of noise from the people adjacent to us and above us. Finally, some kind of demolition was going on across the hallway from our room. It sounded as if Tile was being shipped away with a hammer and chisel. It made it impossible for us to rest in the afternoon. I called down to the front desk, but they told me there wasn’t any construction going on inside of the hotel. She was insistent there was no construction going on, and I asked her to come up and listen, but I don’t believe anyone ever did

This property exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed by the concierge. Check-in was quick. Leti and Eva were very professional. The concierge gave us many useful tips in the area. The property’s is conveniently locates just a few minutes walk from places we wanted to visit. In front of the Sagrada Familia, a truly exceptional place. From the Rooftop you can enjoy beautiful view’s of the city of Barcelona

I was delighted with the hotel, the location is ideal, I was greeted wonderfully, the receptionist was very polite and helped with all issues.

The location of the hotel is incredible. It is in the middle of the gotic neighborhood, in front of Barcelona's Cathedral.
Personnel was always nice and kind. The hotel was clean and modern.
The views are incredible. The restaurant-bar at the top has a beautiful view of the Cathedral.
We were taken to the Cruise port by one of their personnel. It was a colombian guy very helpful. Thank you.

The Hotel Colon was the perfect choice for us! After a long flight from Edmonton AB Canada, it was the perfect soft landing for us. Ideally situated in the midst of a bustling dining, shopping and historic properties location. We highly recommend this beautiful hotel.
