Barcelona Boutique Hotel At It's Best
Posted 6 Jun 2024 on HotelsCharming atmosphere in a historical previous residence with a backyard covered area for lounging and dining (excellent food!) surrounded by fruit trees and a beautiful garden. The rooms were comfy with all the extras you need to make it special. The staff were accommodating and friendly and always willing to make the stay enjoyable. They were so patient with a couple of later nights we spent having drinks outside with our good friends from home who met us in Barcelona--never complained or asked us to "wrap it up"! The lobby was well decorated to preserve the original decor but with modern touches. In the hotel's library you will find the famous book "La Sombra del Viento" written by Carlos Ruiz Zafon, a well known Spanish and International Author from the early 1900's. The location is a bit on the edge of the city but it was a nice respite from the hustle & bustle of a very busy Barcelona.

The staff - Julio, Mikaela, Mark, Albert, Emiliano, Alejandro, Salvatore, John - I’m sure I’m missing some and not spelling properly, felt like people we’d want to visit us if they come to Chicago. They made our trip as much as anyplace we visited.
