Fab hotel on the seafront

Very good simple hotel with good breakfast
Posted 19 Oct 2018 on HotelsLovely family run hotel, only 17 rooms so small enough to care. Checkin was quick and friendly and painless. The hotel is located front line and is in a good area , withthecentre only10 minutes easy walk away, or less. We visited in mid October so many of gage cafes and restaurants were closed. It looks likeZahara is a fine town for families and couples when in season.
The room itself is compact, but spotless and has a very good shower and bathroom. Towels were 'economy's rare. Windows have electric shutters, and 'partial sea view room' had a balcony with a good view of the sea and beach and enough room for two to sit comfortably in the afternoon and evening sun. It has an excellent solarium with great views and sunbeds. Breakfast. So implebut good - coffee, orange juice,cereal,bread,croissants and cold meats and cheese.
The hotel has a restaurant attached which wasn't open in mid October but seems to have a good reputation. The hotel is only10 yards away from a microbrewery/bar/restaurant (CerveZahara) which sadly was not open during our stay.
I would happily stay here again.

Disappointed on arrival as we had booked and had confirmed a room with sea view and balcony and were given a room without either as apparently one was not available. It was put right the next day and we moved but as we were only there two nights anyway it somewhat spoilt the enjoyment of our stay. Apart from that, the hotel was spotless, good location and value for money. Breakfast was also good.

Good Hotel at Great Price and Location
Posted 5 Sep 2014 on HotelsWe booked a couple of nights away as my husband and I were celebrating our 30 years wedding anniversary. We specifically booked a room with a sea view and balcony and this was confirmed in writing but on arrival were given a room without either. Apparently a member of staff had booked this and had since left and there was no such room available for our first night there! We were promised this would be rectified the next day which it was but we were only there two nights anyway and it did spoil our stay somewhat. Aside from that it is spotlessly clean, breakfast is good and the location excellent. English speaking staff were few and far between.
