Sunnyside Cottages
Posted 18 Oct 2024 on HotelsIt was a cute cottage with 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and a little front porch! All we needed since I wasn’t coooking! The couple who owned it were adorable ! I felt bad for them because they could find no help so they had to clean the cottages themselves!

I had made reservations here because it looked great online and I wanted to stay in a cabin. When I got there, I was given a room in the motel part which is right on the busy road. Too noisy for me as I’m a light sleeper and even with windows closed I could hear the cars go by (and I like sleeping with windows open. It also has a slight smell of mold which I’m allergic to. So I had to leave. The woman who owns it with her husband was very sweet though and I hope I didn’t hurt her feelings.

I just want to make clear,that You made a reservation for the motel room not a cottage as per reservation confirmation.After You check-in to your motel room the only complain You had thatYou are very light sleeper and will have a problem to slipping . I am very confused with You statement on review,,since on Real Time You praise that room was very clean ,spacious and good beds ,no mention any smellWe work very hard to provide a clean, comfortable and safe accommodations .

No amenities in room. No coffee, iron. No breakfast. Only coffee in office. Beds are not great. Shower stall is tiny! Location is good. A couple runs the property with no staff so no room cleanup. It was clean when we arrived but be prepared for no amenities. A no frills place!
