"The Owners were very friendly. Although paying was difficult, they have 1 phone line, and it took 6 times for my payment to be processed without a call coming in to cancel the transaction. And Wifi was very low and kept dropping. Our room was clean but had a musty smell and the window A/C took a day and half to cool the room."

The folks checked via text daily to see if you needed anything, and also to get your breakfast order, which was then dropped off outside your door at the time you requested. "We loved our room especially with the wallpaper, which suited it perfectly. Christopher at the front desk was a delight and font of information, and it was wonderful to have a reserved parking spot for our room. The room was spotless with some of the best pillows we’ve ever encountered on a trip. It was an easy walk to several restaurants and also to Main Street. The front desk also helped us make last minute reservations for accessing Cadillac Mountain, though the weather was not in our favor. We plan on returning to Bar Harbor, and want to stay in Room 3 again!"
