We stayed for 3 nights on our trip to Acadia. The Motel is overpriced for what it offers but it is on the peninsula and it is at a convenient location for visitors. The bed is not comfortable and the room is too small. AC unit gets too hot in heat setting and drying up the room. Staff is friendly and helpful. The highlight is definitely the free breakfast options that guests write down on a paper every morning.

Very old and really needs a interior face lift. Mattresses really need to be replaced. Also should reevaluate the Breakfast deal.

Overpriced, dated 1950s style motel with unbelievably small rooms and the tiniest bathrooms we have ever experienced. Just barely okay for one night. Would not stay here again.

The breakfast arrangement was a little strange. After checking off a few standard continental breakfast items from a list, you had to go to the office and pick it up in a brown paper bag the next morning at 8 am. Main entrance poorly marked and lighted at night. It was pitch dark and we had to make a left turn from the highway. I missed it and almost caused a major accident with passing and oncoming traffic.

Hi Paul, Our welcome sign was down for a few days but it is all fixed now. So sorry if it was hard to see. Headlights are usually ample to see our sign though. Thanks!

Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Breakfast was disappointing as it was a brown paper bag you picked up in the office. The night before you select what you want from the options they list. What you get the next morning is a surprise. Ordered toast from the list of options, but it was a slice of plain bread with no way to toast it. Steps into the office are impossible for folks with mobility difficulties. Saw more than 1 person struggle with them and 1 person who was unable to navigate them at all.

Hi Lee, there is a toaster and microwave located in the guest laundry building where the vending machines are. Also we would be happy to make accommodation for any guest who needed help with the office steps. All one has to do is ask!
