I really enjoyed my stay here. This was my first time coming out to North Carolina for the Land of Oz park and the convenience of this location can’t be beat. The rooms come with more than just a bed and a shower; there was a tiny living room area with a couch and coffee table and a kitchen with fridge, stove and cooking equipment. My only reservations were the bed pillows were a tad uncomfortable, the dishwasher didn’t entirely clean a couple of the dishes I used and I had some issues with the shower but from what I heard (and I might be misremembering now) it’s in the middle of a property owner transfer and will be undergoing a remodel soon. Hopefully they keep the layout of the rooms because I really enjoyed having a studio apartment for a hotel room. Not sure if I’ll make it back out there immediately next year as I came from California but when I do come back, if it’s open, I’ll definitely look into staying again.

No air conditioning..no one at the front desk to help with problems

Warning not at all What is described the property was two-story with a curvy narrow staircase to the bedroom totally inappropriate not to have disclosed this for a 70 year-old woman who couldn’t walk upstairs couldn’t sleep downstairs because the couch was at least 50 years old and disgusting to even look at Carpet gross Front desk closed at 5 although write up said 10pm No ac. Did have nice towels

Slow learners are we-
Posted 17 Aug 2024 on HotelsThe overall condition of the property and room was substandard. The windows/door glass were smoked and locked off due to repairs-was obvious it had been like that for awhile based on the condition of the posted sign. Carpets needed cleaned and stretched and wires for TV's needed to be routed/covered. The beds were hard and mattresses appeared to be old. It was dark and wallpaper was peeling from the walls. The place needs a major remodel but it has needed that for years. We have stayed here before but won't make that mistake again. Travel a few miles to find something nicer as this would not be a yes for us again at any price-

No Air conditioning and it was hot at night. The carpet looks original and is worn out. No Elevator so we had to lug out suitcases upstairs - said they did not have room on the levels that you could walk in. They have a kitchen but no coffee in the room or condiments. We had to call and request a hair dryer which they brought up to us. When we checked out, they said that the property was sold and would be renovated -- I would wait for the renovation before going there again.
