The lobby and dinning areas were amazing. Food was amazing and staff were very friendly and co-operative. But the rooms need a major upgrade. The room that we stayed in was very basic and had very old furniture.

Soft product was amazing. For the hard product, the property needs a bit of improvement, especially the bathrooms.

Breakfast options are limited. Staff are not attentive. Needed to tell multiple staff members about needing a refill for the juice containers, and even 15 minutes later they were not replaced. There were multiple power failures, including one in which we almost got stuck in the elevator. For a supposedly 5-star hotel, the power disruptions should not have been felt by the customers and the generators should have kicked in automatically, which never happened. Even in remote villages, with an inverter in the house, the lights never go out. However, the Taj Deccan had multiple power failures during which the lights went out completely which definitely surprised me!! After staying at all 3 Taj hotels, I have to say that Taj Deccan is the worst of all in every sense.

Food taste n quality was great! Dining staff were good All other things were average/ a lil above average at best
