Quiet place as there are no car around property, you have to walk 3-5min to road, only traffic comes from river (and this noise is gone by evening).
Clean and spacious place, open lobby with little garden.
Breakfast is basic but fresh, what did surprise us that there were lot of employees at breakfast but no one approached us with additional offer (eggs etc), sometimes they didn’t rush with table prep for other guests or checking if coffee pot is full - note this hotel has few rooms therefore it was not crazy busy, only 2of is or two tables occupied.
Other than that, employees were friendly and it was very cozy place by river.

This hotel is a bit isolated....good 10 minute walk to closest river pier. No very local restaurants apart from basic eateries and street food. But hotel has lo ely decked area adjacent to canal. I had deluxe river view room. The hotel actually looks onto canal with river further away. You would not want a ground floor room or room at back of hotel. For various reasons, i have moved to a much more expensive hotel in Sukhumvit and miss Chann.

Unique Boutique Hotel in Bangkok
Posted 8 Jan 2019 on HotelsThe hotel is very charming and comfortable, it is a small boutique hotel, and really fits that bill. The common spaces were very relaxing and the hotel staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful. Breakfast had wonderful Thai meals (and some more western options, but we didn’t eat these). One note - it is exceedingly difficult to find. Even the taxi drivers couldn’t find it (even with Thai directions). And, you can’t drive up to the front of the hotel, you walk through many small neighborhoods and back sidewalks and then end up in the hotel. I wouldn’t recommend this if you have mobility issues, and I would caution you if you are a solo traveler. As a group of 5 we had no problems and enjoyed seeing a more ‘real’ side of Bangkok. We would definitely stay here again if we ever get a chance to return to Thailand.

Nice decoration with outstanding quality of materials. Friendly services. Only complaint would be the noises of the board and misquotes

Peaceful hidden place, good for relaxing but it’s a bit too difficult to get into the hotel.

Please be careful. The surrounding area was quite dangerous and smells like garbage. You can't walk at night, no light, many wild dogs coming closer, and very very dirty road. Even taxi can't go inside so we have to walk to the hotel for 5min such a danger street. (Local people sitting the road shouted to us. Taxi driver can't come to the hotel, so if you call taxi, it would be really complicated to meet the driver appropriately. It was so stressful every time.)
Also We couldn't sleep because of the noise. We had travelled all over the world, but this hotel is one of the worst one unfortunately.
Although almost the stuff were kind, but only the woman manager at the reception(small and skinny young woman with eyeglass) was pretty bad. We were disappointed with her hospitality, not professional. But other stuffs were so kind and warm.
