This property is tucked away from the madness of Bangkok. It feels like another world within that world. I Loved the location because I was able to walk to so many temples and interesting things to see. Great food was also very close by. The staff was so sweet and so helpful. I’m not big on Bangkok, but the people here and this place made me feel at home and safe. When I come back, I’ll be sure to stay here again! Thank you so much❤️

We arrived at 7:30, place was completely dark and shut down. Down a scary narrow lane with stray cats and dogs, dirty crammed shops.
Steps were glistening (not for those with mobility issues), walls paper thin, the staff who checked us in couldn't understand "water bottle," stray cats were howling out the window, and the bathroom smelled of sweat.
We braved the slippery steps and patio in the rain and left to another hotel in spite of taking a complete loss on our 5 day rental.
Only appropriate for young backpackers or the intrepid. Owner was nice.

Posted 21 Mar 2020 on HotelsI only stayed here one night as I had to leave back to the US the next day, but I would have gladly stayed here longer! Baan Kachitpan is a wonderful location on a quiet side street. The rooms are beautiful, the patio upstairs is lovely and the breakfast is simple and delicious! The location is amazing, walking distance to many tourist attractions and restaurants.
Jam made sure everyone was well taken care of and she was there to answer all the questions I needed in regards to booking a last-minute flight home. I wish I could have stayed here longer and I will definitely stay here again next time I go to Bangkok!
