I emailed sananwan beach b&b the day before i was due to arrive to say i would not be able to make the reservation as the taxi driver refused to take me as it was too far from the airport. I asked another taxi driver who contested the same problem.
I emailed to let them know but they did not reply to my emails but they did charge me the FULL amount of for the three days i was due to stay. I am very unhappy about being charged for 3 days when i did not stay there. Very disappointed

Good for overnight stay
Posted 28 Nov 2018 on HotelsOld but functional rooms. Nothing much nearby except a convenience store, but the hotel has a restaurant.
Across the hotel grounds is a very quiet beach. Only me there. A relaxing place to be.
Good value & I'd stay again

Peaceful stay
Posted 7 Feb 2018 on HotelsWe stayed in the upper floor room. It was open, airy, clean, peaceful. There's not much to do in the area, but there is a nice beach. It's a great place to relax. The food is good, too. Friendly, accommodating staff.

Posted 13 Oct 2016 on HotelsI was traveling alone with 2 children, ages 1 and 3... They had a great time and the hosts were very sweet. There were cows and wildlife everywhere... the kids Loved It!

Fantastic !
Posted 18 Apr 2015 on HotelsThe Sananwan Beach B&B feels more like a homestay without compromising on comfort. Staff is extremely friendly and very helpful. The food is delicious.
My Room was spacious, the bed was extremely comfy, I had a jacuzzi tub in a huge bathroom and a nice balcony to unwind in the evening or to enjoy the sunrise if you get up early.
It is just a short stroll to the beach, and once you are there it is all yours. Not another person in sight.
The location seems a bit remote, but if you rent a motorcycle there is a lot to explore. From the red cliffs nearby, to Thailands largest sanddune, fishing villages, fantastic temples and caves. Furthermore there are fantastic spots for snorkeling around Koh Talu and the scenic Royal Coastal Road seems to be popular with cyclists. The area is still unspoilt from mass tourism.

Have you ever dreamed about your own beach?
Posted 3 Feb 2015
Pros: It looks like private villa, small, very friendly managers, not touristic area, very beautiful beach, great fish.
Location: Should you go there, I would advice you to rent a motorbike, and to visit the towns and places around (is really worth!), to go to the market early in
I never dreamed about it, but .. I found it here, in Sanavanbeach hotel for few days after 5 weeks round trip through Myanmar, Cambodia, and Thailand. I had a superior room - very bright and big enough. The hotel is quiet small: has only about 10 guestrooms. I lived like in a private villa on the beach. During my stay I met very special people, as this place is still not very touristic, is not that well known or advertised - but exactly for this reason I went there. I loved to sit in the balcony, where I met great other guests and had long long conversations. The Beach - just 100 m. from the villa, so I spend walking for km.,discovering very beautiful shells. During my stay the hotel was managed by Jack and Mai - most friendly and helpful hotel managers I ever met.

Früher vielleicht ein gutes Hotel
Posted 8 Feb 2020 on HotelsDas Zimmer selbst war ganz in Ordnung und sauber. Internet funktioniert sehr gut.
