"The hotel has character but it is very basic. Breakfast is not available. There is no restaurant. The wifi mostly did not work. There was a complex device for showers that did not work properly and flooded the bathroom. The towels had seen better days. There was no TV. The room was not serviced in the three days I stayed in Galle. "The property is located in a well kept garden next to a small but beautiful beach. Rooms are well kept and relaxing. The staff are fantastic and always willing to accommodate requests. "The staff was amazing the chef made some of the best food I have ever tasted!! He was very sweet and very involved in all aspects of the villas. The curry was out of this world as well as the pasta 10 out of 10 all around. The room was large and beautiful, you felt like you had the place to yourself very highly recommend!!!"

"The house has a good location, easy to access the beach. The owner is super kind and helpful, we are vegan and asked for a vegan breakfast, they made every day different options and lots of fruits. So well done. The location provides a good view to the sea, and there are a lots of wild animals, also visiting the garden. It's also an experience. Overall its a good place."

"Warning don’t waste your time booking a hot tub room. Total waste of money. You need about 2 hrs to fill it. Then there are no instructions how to use it. We tried to get a refund from Sanjivee but he was adamant that it was our fault that we hadn’t reported it (not sure what other than lack of power from the tap) he wasn’t going to oblige. "Great location right next to Fort but outside the mayhem of it. Great views of it from the pool! Private beach, quite sheltered by the big waves. Comfortable and large rooms. Lovely breakfast and great service overall. Sondeepa, the lovely guy who made our room, was super attentive and lovely."

"Enjoyed my stay. The staff are very attentive and friendly. The hotel itself is nice but the rooms are a bit dated. I would consider this a 4 not 5 star hotel. Special shout-out to Subhadra who was fantastic from housekeeping my entire staff. Definitely a highlight. Would recommend this hotel. "

"Its an old building refurbished into a modern, sleek hotel. Conveniently located within the ramparts of the Galle Fort, its super comfortable, with luxury shower products and impeccable service. Loved the breakfast!! They managed to go out of their way to get my laundry done on time for our train!! 10/10 will stay here again!"
