The hotel itself was nice, It had some worn down parts but for the most part exhibited cleanliness. The elevator however, the elevator brought about one of the most uncomfortable experiences of my life. They must allow access to stairs or enable guests to use the staff elevators during checkout time. At 12 noon, I waited 25 minutes, not an exaggeration, I waited 25 full minutes to get into an elevator, which was packed with 10+ people and a screaming baby. Very poor experience, the hotel has more to offer, but something must be done about the elevator.

"The best place to stay in Malacca, right at the center of the old town, a building behind the Christ Church Melaka. With a 7-11 at the entrance, the weekend market and Hard Rock Café and Jonker Street, it’s literally in the middle of all the action. And friendly people at the reception!"

"Great location but u have to be aware that your hotel is right outside the night market. So if you can’t sleep easily with noise don’t book here. Everything gets packed up by 1am so if your planning to stay out won’t be a problem"
