"I have been traveling to Mahahual for solo fishing adventures every year for at least the last 8 years, and I have always stayed at the Cabanas Del Doctor, and I always will! I don't need anything fancy, but for the very reasonable price of a room or cabana here you won't find anything even close to as good. Also, the woman who runs the hotel/cabanas is wonderful, I look forward to seeing her every year. Hope to be back again soon, thank you for everything once again!"

" Luna de Plata is the last hotel on the Malecon (the walkway by the sea in Mahuhalal), and. that is what makes it special. It is the last stronghold on the Maya Coast to withstand tourist invasion.
