The pub and restaurant are closed and lease advertised. No facilities available for food or drink. Room was very basic but the room itself was clean. Sorry could not recommend.

You arrrive, the door is locked, no lights on and, to top it all, a sign “TO LET”.
You have to bang the door hard for a guy upstairs to let you in.
Ridiculous!

Disappointed
Posted 15 Aug 2022 on HotelsThe room was clean and the bed comfortable. However, decor was tired and some of the fittings were in poor repair -,the toilet cistern leaked and the shower fell apart if you touched it. The floor was very uneven, even allowing for it being an old building , and sunk in the middle. We were disappointed to find that the inn itself was closed, which we were not aware of until we arrived , so no breakfast etc, as expected.
The major issue however came from outside - we were awakened on the hour every hour by the church bells opposite sounding all through the night and had very little sleep. Would definately not use this property again.
