Very cold inside , and noisy neighbours

Dear Lucian, Firstly, I am sorry you were cold. You only had to ask for the heating to be turned up. As noted on the welcome sheet there are extra blankets in the wardrobe. I think that this is a difference of expectation. As soon as I read your review just after 8, I checked the temperature in your room which was over 19 degrees. This is a cottage in the countryside. 19 degrees is positively hot! Old houses are much more difficult to heat. I would also say that older people, such as ourselves, brought up before the days of central heating, wear clothes suitable for the seaons and heat our houses accordingly.Regarding the noisy neighbours, please let me know what noise that was as i didn't hear anything last night.

I was passed onto next door to stone house as it was double booked,it was someones house and not equipped as a b b.there were no facilities or internet .smelt musty like an unused house.

Lovely host, very welcoming. Nice quiet area with a great pub 5 minute walk away. If you're looking for modern and trendy this probably isn't the place but its great value for money. I would definitely return if in the area
