4/5 Good
"So the botanical garden is lovely and well worth a visit. The animal enclosures not so good very small. The hotel is well equipped but the staff seem disorganised and badly managed in the lobby area. The luxury room was not distinct enough from the standard rooms to make any considerable difference and the balconys are small and hardly worth it with no seats or table. The food was ok. Room service is only 2 pm till 8pm so not much use to normal people as room service is something usually used after hours not during. Would we stay again, from a platinium members opinion no we would visit the botanical gardens which is 86 baht entrance fee and stay in a different hotel. We asked for an extra bowl with our room service meal and where charged 60 baht for a paper bowl hardly the service expected for renting a luxury room. The hotel grounds are clean the rooms are a little dated but clean. The cleaning staff seem organised. The hotel pools are not sutible for children the shallowest we found was 1.00m and the slide was based in the deep end at 1.80m. The hotel seems more geared towards large tour groups rather than the individual customer"
