Very quiet location, close by to coconut beach, 15 min drive, this is a must visit beach during a stay here. Great couple of massage places just outside of the hotel on the beach, and a cute little restaurant. "

"All the staff were very helpful and friendly, peaceful by the beach and plenty of sun loungers available. Activities offered too, I did the yoga which was very enjoyable. Food was an interesting ensemble at the Christmas party but what I had was good. I was in one of the beach houses which had probably seen better days but still nice and clean, I'd definitely stay again. "

"Lovely hotel with a very relaxing vibe. The room was very comfortable and spacious. We ate in all the hotel restaurants and every meal was delicious. Pam’s restaurant at the end of the road was also good. "

"It was our wedding anniversary and The Sands specially decorated the bed and provided a sponge cake to help us celebrate. We stayed in a ground floor room with direct pool access and it was great for our two young boys. They were 3 other pools as well with the kids pool being a favourite. The resort has direct beach access and is an easy walk to the main stretch of Khao Lak with great dining options and local shopping. Breakfast had a wide selection which easily catered for our varied tastes. The staff were amazing and the rooms were comfortable and clean. We enjoyed an amazing sunset on Christmas day and wished we could have stay longer. We were exceptionally lucky with the weather which was a bonus."
