We were extremely happy with this accommodation. Our host Mark was excellent. So friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was delicious, cooked to order so hot unlike larger hotel buffet menus.
We will definitely recommend this accommodation to family and friends.
Will book this accommodation in future .

Staff and breakfast good. Property and room was average. Unfortunately bathroom had not been properly cleaned

Lovely stay at Hillcrest, the location is fabulous.
The breakfast was really lovely with plenty of choice. Bob, the owner was really welcoming...would stay again & definitely recommend this guest house.

Exceptional service and hospitality. Very comfy bed. Loved the period features. Close to restaurants etc. Would happily stay here again.

Hillcrest House was clean and comfortable. The area was fairly quiet and it was convenient for visiting the castle.The breakfast was very good too.
The on-street parking was quite busy when we arrived, but it eased off once the day-trippers had gone and we were able to move the car a bit closer.
