We had an overall nice stay! The room and bed was comfortable, and it was pleasantly cool in spite of no air-conditioning. The breakfast was the best thing in my opinion, the buffet had a good variety to chose from and it tasted great. Negative points for badly equipped fitness room that was not even included in fee (extra 4 euro per day), and lack of shielding in the bathroom causing water to flood all over the bathroom and into the hallway when showering.

We had a wonderful stay, from the friendly welcome to our spacious room. We did feel a little like royalty. Breakfast was amazing. Garage very convenient. And close to everything!

Great hotel, but not so comfy beds
Nice hotel, good service, helpful staff and great breakfast. The hotel is perfectly located in the old part of town if one wants to explore the historic sites. The only downsides for the hotel are the beds with extreme hard mattresses. They are too hard for our taste and we did not sleep well. That could easily be fixed with a softer top mattress. Apart from the beds however, it’s a lovely hotel.

Descent stay, but too far from city center.
It was an ok stay. We expected the decor to be a bit 'nicer' seeing as how it was in a residenz, but that just asthetics. Two issues...main one being it is not in the center of the city, it's a bit of a walk. Manageable, but still a hike. The other issue was, after having a snack in the restaurant that evening, the staff completely messed up the billing for all the patrons and it took a while to sort out. It might have been caused by their billing system going down, but we weren't sure.

Booked a large Suite room and site stated seperate sleeping area in living room. There was none and the couch was not a sleeper. Room backed up the main street, and was extremely noisy. Had to move matresses into living room and hallway in order to get away from the street noise. Front desk ladies were not very friendly. No pool..... Would not go back for the money we paid for a large suite room.

Lovely hotel but road-facing rooms not worth the £
The hotel itself is very impressive and nice. The rooms are large and roomy. No air conditioning made it uncomfortable with a baby in the heat. The breakfast was a great perk. Our main issue was the noise, the first night we and the baby did not sleep. Granted, there was a festival that was loud until about midnight but drunk people, cars and in the morning lorries/trucks kept us awake. We were in a road-facing room and weren’t advised of this - with the heat it would have been great to open the windows but the noise made this impossible. A heads up from the staff would have been appreciated, we could have at least left the hotel to get the baby to sleep. We moved rooms for the second night which was much better, but the room was not worth what we paid for it given the noise. Similar reviews suggest this is a common issue.
