Top quality accomodation with beautiful gardens, thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Would definitely return however the owner has a new no dog policy which is unfortunate.

The Host compliments me with a bottle of my favourite sparkling wine on my birthday and plentiful of stacks sumptuous breakfast.
The cottage has a fine and elegant touch, warmth and cozy. Beautiful gardens and scenery, and best of all pet friendly in the paradise. Definitely will recommend to our friends, clients and relatives.

Relaxing weekend in a serene environment. Such an interesting history to the place and great to be able to walk the gardens. Lovely small country town and yet so close to Ballarat.

Small cottage, lovely garden

Pros: Quaint and cosy; pleasant garden
Cons: Ventilation when using bench-top hot plate.
Location: Just outside the historic town of Buninyong, and only a short drive from Ballarat, with its many attractions.
We chose the smaller, cheaper of two cottages – a good base for a two-night stay while attending Ballarat organ festival (even though out of Ballarat). Make your own breakfast, using very generous supply of eggs, bacon, etc, etc. (But open the window before you fry your eggs!). Friendly, warm welcome. No refund if we'd had to cancel (a concern), but all went according to plan, and we enjoyed our stay.

Pros: pot belly stove alight on arrival and breakfast provisions fresh and plentiful
Cons: Small space in rooms but had every thing we required to make our stay enjoyable
Location: Beautiful town, green hills and walking tracks to explore Close to Ballarat - Visited Regional Art gallery and sunday craft market. Both excellent.

Friendly hosts, cozy cottage

Location: Within walking distance of little Buninyong township.
Compact and cozy cottage with a delicious breakfast provided - including eggs and bacon! Electric heating AND an ambient wood stove for warmth. We stayed in the smaller suite and it is only big enough for a couple. Beautiful grounds and welcoming people, certainly didn't feel crowded by hosts or other guests. Thanks!
