Friendly staff! The facility has clean common areas and washrooms, since they’re cleaned everyday. Kitchen is great. It’s too bad the hostel is mostly closed during the cleaning hours (no room and kitchen access) but then again you don’t come to Glencoe to stay inside :) They should fix the faucets and hand dryers in the washrooms since they don’t all work properly.
Its nice that they have coffee and tea available all day. I’d recommend jt and would stay here again

We stayed 4 nights in a private room. Overall, the hostel is spacious, clean, comfortable, and friendly. However, we did find the room really hot without much airflow. My only other complaint is that two nights we experienced issues with drunk adults. One of the adults was working the desk a few days later, which is not appropriate. These disturbances were not handled by the staff, which was unfortunate, as it disturbed the evening for all guests.

Quiet location in Glencoe
Posted 9 May 2024 on HotelsStayed here for a night in Glencoe before heading south...the check in was excellent and informative, the room was cozy and located right across from the showers, bathrooms were clean. Appreciated the wifi and location very much.

Great venue, very limited parking. Kind of remote but good for access to different hiking locations. Huge kitchen and lounge area.
