Didn’t even end up staying more than 30 minutes in the property No lights, no cameras, massive window in my room so everyone can look into my room, and window on the door so everyone can see in too, faulty lock on door, there was 2 but one doesn’t even work. And the lock that does work it’s nothing more than a bathroom twisty lock, my door would budge even when “locked”. Mould behind the bed on the walls, minimal “sheet” as a cover and same goes for pillows, heater didn’t works nor the Tv, so I would’ve been bored and freezing in this room. No lock for bathroom. Went to lock my door to meet a friend, struggled to do so, and a man approaches me and tries to talk to me with a hood up and proceeds to follow me to my car. As a LONE, YOUNG WOMAN, this was my tipping point, and then I went back into the room, shaking, and handed my key back immediately to staff, and had to find alternative accommodation as this was not safe ! Have tried to contact for a refund, but nothing has come back to me yet. So yeah, worst 30 minutes of my life! Never again

Damp and dirty, would not recommend to anyone, on way to wedding, suit and dress smelt damp and place was dirty

Bedding damp, room cold, rodent in ceiling space, light streaming in through glass front door, floor uneven and breaking up, no-one on reception.

Its not what I didn't like staying at the place. As the place is very reasonable in price concidering the places around the area. For short stays its good. Comfy bed shower and toilet facilities. Place is clean what more do you want. I noticed people want everything for a cheap price. Simple rooms with a bathroom. The couple running the site are lovely and friendly but if booking to stay please read what your needs are.

OYO Tudor Stevenage - unpleasent stay

The stay for one night as a couple was terrible, want to forget about it ASAP. The floor panels are risk hazard, room was cramped and noisy with unpleasant audio from next room. I'm staying another night later this month and want to cancel if I can without cost.

Room was damp and has me and my partner poorly.. there child was outside crying and screaming from early!! Really rude on arrival when we asked if we could pay to check in early as we had a festival…
