The valet was horrible and tried to pocket $20.. He said he takes tips too. We don't need to be reminded.
After he was given $20, we we're then told the valet fee would be added to our bill.

I had high expectations, as several friends told me they loved staying here. However, my room was beset with several problems, including a toilet paper holder that fell apart onto the floor; the shower knob that fell onto the floor; and a weird static sound coming from the fire alarm speaker. I had to use a white noise app to mask this disconcerting and intermittent sound. In addition, though the in-house restaurant had great Google reviews, my meal of a caesar salad with grilled shrimp had wilted lettuce, a gallon of dressing that was clearly from a can or bottle, and reheated grilled shrimp - that were partially cold. I'm not sure what the allure is here; it was an ok place to stay, but not worth the hype.
