Narciso the front desk “supervisor” ruined what could have otherwise been a great weekend. We booked 1 night thru Expedia but woke up feeling under the weather so called [front desk] at 10am to request a late check-out, we were told no, reason being that it was too late. We then requested to extend our stay, we could book thru Expedia again or thru the hotel. We decided directly with them out of convenience but he tells me I have to go down to the front desk to check-in. I say ok I’ll book with Expedia, he says you still have to come check-in. I say ok can you give me a couple hours I’m not feeling well but I’ll book and pay for the room right now. His response is you are already turning into a headache.I say ok then just charge me for the late check-out a full days rate if you must but please I just need 2 hours. He answers Are you refusing to leave.I say no I’m trying to pay for an extra night or for an extended later check-out or for a curtesy late check-out, I’m not asking you for anything free, you have my credit card on file, I’m not feeling well, tell me which option will allow me to come to the front desk later. He says I’m refusing service, you need to leave now. I have a right to refuse service and now you can’t stay.
Clearly, he had no concern for his health or the health of other guests so my husband very concerned for mine went to the front desk and Narciso said I’m refusing service,[why?,] bc he didn’t like my tone he said. BTW this hotel offers Digital Key
