This is our 2nd stay at Rossio Garden in 2 years. Location is excellent to walk to all “must see” areas of Lisbon. Rooms are small, breakfast is simple. Since you are on a restaurant street it’s noisy at night

Due to unfortunate accident my wife was in Sao Jose hospital nearby. I had booked 4 nights because I didn't know how many nights I would need while I navigated the Lisbon hospital system and our global travel insurance provider to get us back to Canada. I only ended up staying 2 nights but the hotel was very unsympathetic and still charged me for the 4 nights because the rate was non refundable even though I had told them on checkin that I'm here because my wife was in hospital. On check out, Front desk said there was nothing they could do. At a time of high stress this is not good customer service.
Room was also small, basic and not worth the rate they charged me.

The cleanliness, front desk was extremely helpful, restaurants right in front of hotel, very quiet room.

Clean room and great front desk staff. Location is central and walkable to every major tourist attractions.
