Posted 10 Jul 2019 on HotelsSeven bikers arrived tired and hot. The staff could not have been more helpful, allowing us to quickly order a meal just before the kitchen closed down for the evening. The bar was also kept open which was very well received ! Breakfast was also a real treat. The rooms were very good, being clean, spacious and just what we wanted. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you

Pros: large rooms comfortable
couple of suggestion - have one ENGLISH menu we had to ask the chef to assist us . Booked for 2 persons - however as it was an apartment confirmation in a single was for one so some confusion on checkout. They wanted to charge us for the room even though we had paid Expedia - they advised breakfast was NOT included however I showed them the confirmation and as there was only one person booked paid for the additional breakfast.

We loved the way they have put so much attention to detail in restoring this old buliding. It is exquisit and the staff is very friendly. Good food, beautiful town in the heart of the Black Forest. We loved it!!!

Nice hotel in black forest
Posted 3 Nov 2015the hotel is nicely appointed, rooms are big and comfortable. The staff is the best part of this faciluty as they are very friendly, courteous and accommodate every wish. I would recommend this hotel/bed & breakfast.

Wonderful weekend
Posted 12 Jun 2015 on HotelsIt was very hot and no AC. The hotel is lovely. We had a wonderfully delicious dinner. The staff was very nice. They prepared a breakfast tray to take to the apartment for my daughter. Highly recommend this hotel.

A night in the Black Forrest
Posted 6 Mar 2015 on HotelsThe hotel is part of an old but restored building. The restoration is very well done and mixes modern and the original in a novel way that we find pleasing.
We visited for just one night. We checked in and were shown to our room. Being an old building, there is wood everywhere with impressive wooden beams in our room. We also had a kitchen - cooker, fridge, sink etc - had we wanted to cook. But instead after a walk around the local area we decided to eat in the hotel. They have two areas - the main restaurant or the bar. We choose the bar and had two swabian pizzas and desserts. All very good.
The hotel is clean, well presented and friendly. We would have no hesitation in returning for further stays.
